What may be collected privately
- Your name and contact information (optional for rent comparisons)
- Your unit number (optional, never published)
- Leases, renewal offers, bills, emails, photographs, and work orders
- Submission timestamps and technical anti-spam data supplied by the hosting provider
Where private submissions go
Submissions are transmitted to and stored by Netlify, Inc., the hosting provider that operates this site’s forms. That includes anything you type, any uploads, and technical data such as your IP address. Access to the private submissions dashboard is strictly limited. Netlify’s own privacy policy applies to its processing. Raw submissions and uploaded documents are deleted from the hosting provider within 30 days of a publication decision, and unit numbers are retained only until verification is complete. Stored submissions can be subject to legal process served on the site or its hosting provider — the site deliberately keeps little, so there is little to produce.
Repair and safety reports require a name and email because they carry accusation weight and need a verification path; rent comparisons do not.
The update list
If you ask to be notified when records are published, the site keeps your email address and nothing else. That list is separate from private submissions, is used only to send occasional notes about newly published records, and is never sold, shared, or forwarded. It is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do by replying to any message. Asking for updates is entirely optional and is not required to submit anything.
What is not published
- Names or personal contact details
- Exact occupied unit numbers
- Uploaded documents, signatures, account numbers, or payment information
- Private medical information
What may be published
Generalized unit type and layout, square footage, approximate floor range, lease date, rent, price per square foot, concessions, fees, renewal offer, repair category, relevant dates, evidence status, and a carefully edited factual summary.
Limits
No online system can promise perfect anonymity or security. Do not submit information that is unnecessary to verify the record. Do not upload identification documents, access codes, full bank statements, or documents containing unrelated personal information.
Removal requests
Use the correction form to request review or removal. Provide enough information to identify the record without posting personal details publicly.
